Welcome everyone to my new blog! I am a college student in my freshman year, I am majoring in clinical dietetics, and I love learning and writing about health and nutrition. I look forward to blogging about the latest in natural nutrition news and everything that is related to natural health. This blog will mainly focus on natural health topics such as: vaccine safety (or the lack thereof), healing foods, the power (and importance) of exercise, discrimination of those who chose natural ways of healing, etc.
For a little background on me and how I came to be so passionate about health and nutrition, I'll let you guys know that I have had my own issues with health in the past. Some people would think that the health challenges that I have faced are minuscule and kind of unimportant; however, it affected me in a very profound way. I used to be very against natural health, I used to think all those people were quacks and didn't know what they were talking about--I was a huge proponent of the allopathic view of health. 'Yes to drugs! Yest to GMO foods,' that was how I viewed things. That was until I read Kevin Trudeau's "Natural Cures: THEY Don't Want You to Know About," that book completely turned my opinion around 180 degrees. From then on, I have been very fervent in my support for natural, alternative health. And here I am today, 5 years later, blogging about such natural cures. I hope you find my blog to be informative, helpful, and enlightening.
